WECREATE | KENYA serves as an entrepreneurial community center for women interested in starting or expanding an existing business. The Center provides mentoring, business connections, specialized training, connections to the community, media attention, access to markets and capital along with the technical tools and resources necessary for taking any business to the next level.

Are you a woman with a business idea, or currently in business less than one year? Are you ready to take the next step of your entrepreneurship journey? If yes, then consider applying for the StartUp Academy program offered at the WECREATE Center. Applications for the 4^th flight of StartUp Academy are now open to sign-up for at the WECREATE Center. This will only take 3-4 hours of your time every week making it flexible for entrepreneurs to adequately plan for other initiatives.

StartUp Academy is a fifteen-week business-building program that trains and mentors women entrepreneurs using visual thinking tools. 15-18 startup teams are selected to join this 15-week intense business program facilitated by a collection of local business-building mentors who train and share their expertise with tailored solutions that support local new business creation.

The Business-building Sessions Include:

• Hands on mentoring and coaching from those who have “been there and done it”
• Donated legal services to help properly form a company
• Introductions to a large network of entrepreneurs, funding sources and specialists in the start-up    process
