The UNICEF Innovation Fund Is Announcing Its First Investments In Five Start-ups

Looking for seed funding for your open source technology startup? Do you know a company who should apply for investment?

The UNICEF Innovation Fund is announcing its first investments in five start-ups – with an eye to investing in 20-40 more in 2017. The Fund has already made 31 investments in 30 countries.

The Innovation Fund allows UNICEF to quickly assess, fund and grow open-source solutions that can improve children’s lives.
Financial and technological support from UNICEF’s venture fund is available for companies that can show a strong founding team and a clear path to improving the lives of children.

The fund targets  technology startups creating open-source solutions for children, and registered in one of their 135 program countries (see country list here).

Check out the current investments and how to apply at: www.unicefinnovationfund.org or follow UNICEF on @unicefinnovate to find out more.

All submissions must be received by 1 Jan 2017.
