Customer Service Week 2016 – Service Champions

Are you ready for National Customer Service Week 2016 ? The event-filled customer focused week kicks off today and runs till 7th October. Customers play an important role in any organizations. Actually, they pay everyone’s salaries. Customer Service Week is celebrated to reward loyal customers, attract new ones, and reinforce the importance of satisfied consumers to employees.

However, celebrating excellent customer service should be a routine occurrence, keeping customer service staff focused on going above and beyond for the customer.

Great customer service starts with a smile. We all know how a smile can be contagious. A smile helps form the customer’s first impression, an indication of a pledge to offer a satisfactory product or service.

Different companies will be celebrating the Customer Service Week in various ways; From sending out thank you messages, to treating the customer service staff to a luncheon or dinner. We can’t wait to see how companies are going to do it.

The outcome of this exercise is to strengthen relationships between businesses and their consumers and raise awareness in different companies on the importance of offering great service.
