LittleCab Ready Business meetup: “Getting Kenyan Businesses Ready For The Future and Nairobi Riding A Little Better”

Uber cabs have enjoyed business monopoly both in Nairobi and Mombasa since its luncheon a few months ago. Despite the monopoly in the sector, Kenyans have enjoyed secure and affordable transport services which in turn have made Uber to flourish.

The monopolization might however come to an end as Kenya’s leading telecom Safaricom has joined hands with Craft Silicon, a software developer firm based in Nairobi to start technology leveraged cabs, Littlecabs. The technology leveraged cab will offer diversification in the taxi business sector within the city and hopefully the country at large.

Join the team from Safaricom Limited today from 5pm – 8pm at The Nailab to learn more about the Taxi hailing service, Little Cab. The team will also share insights on SME businesses in Kenya and the challenges they genuinely face. This conversation, which will be led by a robust interactive panel, will also touch on how to get Kenyan Businesses to leverage on technology in order to drive efficiency in their businesses.
The panel will consist of;
  • Fredrick Kiio – Head of Department, Enterprise Commercial Operations, Segments and CVM, Safaricom
  • Kamal Budhabbatti – CEO and Founder, Craft Silicon
  • Klaire Muriithi – Brands and Communications Manager, Safaricom Business
  • Joel Macharia – CEO and founder, Abacus.

Venue: Nailab, 4th floor, Bishop Magua Centre, Opposite Uchumi Hyper supermarket, Ngong Rd.
