Keroche Foundation’s mandate is to connect rising entrepreneurs to successful and experienced players in practical, solution-oriented sessions. An intensive five-month programme aims at enhancing skills in business leadership, management, technology, access to finance, communication, branding and marketing.

Keroche Foundation addresses the knowledge and experience gap that confronts young Kenyan entrepreneurs. An in-depth curriculum designed by experts guides the programme through which young entrepreneurs are mentored, inspired, connected and guided towards overcoming personal and business challenges that plague young businesses.

This is what you need to know before applying to the foundation;

1. You should be the ultimate decision maker in your business
2. Your business should be tax compliant
3. You should be ready to invest valuable time to meet and learn from Kenya’s greatest entrepreneurial minds
4. Your products and/or services should aim at improving the lives of Kenyans
5. Your business should be more than three years old
6. You should have a distinct vision to grow and transform the face of your investment
7. Your business should have more than five employees

To be selected as a mentee by the panel of judges, your business must fulfill the following criteria:

1. Legal registration: Provide certificate of registration or business name registration, Form CR12, Copies of ID and Pin for all Directors
2. Tax Compliant: Provide PIN Certificate of Business, three years audited accounts, VAT registration if applicable, and Tax Compliant Certificate
3. Proof of Existence – Not more than 3 photos showing – all staff at business premises, products and services and an operational picture showing people at work.
4. Impact: Your business plan (present and future)
5. Innovation: A new or better approach to a business opportunity and a clear understanding of opportunity
6. Growth: Prospects for a bright future
