Color

The color used in images is very essential when it comes to sharing attractive social media images. Lines

Typography

Typography allows you to create that visual arrangement in the order of importance, by providing them with visual cues through the use of color, font, size, alignment and style. When working with your social media images, always limit the typography to 3 typefaces. You can use serif for print and use san-serif for web. Using kerning is also very great for headlines on the images.

Scale

Scale gives the person looking at your social media images a frame of reference it is often an under-utilized technique in photography .Scale is a great technique to improve your images and shouldn’t be overlooked. As humans we need scaled to know how large and small the surround world is. In photography it helps us to enjoy the image instead of adding mental work to figure out the size of various elements.

Proximity

The main purpose of proximity is to organize information. You should allow plenty of white space around text and other elements so that you can really see the effect of grouping items together. By Using the principle of proximity, you’ll discover that grouping those items that have something in common, and separate those items that don’t, a clear visual hierarchy stands out on the page. And that’s what proximity is all about.

Hierarchy

Visual hierarchy is a method of organizing design elements in order of importance. In other words, it’s a set of principles that influence the order in which we notice what we see. Utilizing certain hierarchy principles can help you create successful social media images that are both efficient and effective. When creating the images, Always focus on the most important elements of your images first.

Repetition

When you repeat a certain size or shape or color you add strength to the overall image. Repetition is a basic concept in the world of photography. If you want to make a statement, you repeat certain elements again and again. If you repeat something once or twice it becomes more interesting. If you repeat something many times it becomes a pattern and takes on a life of its own. When dealing with your social media images, focus on the fonts, color and logo. It will help create a recognizable look which helps bring consistency in your branding.
