Good news for budding entrepreneurs as the reality entrepreneurship series KCB Lions’ Den comes back for the third season. KCB lions’ Den Season 3 is scheduled to premiere on 4th September on KTN TV at 8.00 Pm.
In the previous seasons, the number of applicants increased from 5,000 in the first season to over 6,500 in Season Two, indicating rising interest among entrepreneurs. In our last article, we reviewed the second season where a total KES 140 million shillings was invested with 36 entrepreneurs benefiting from the entrepreneurship deals. The past two seasons have seen 59 entrepreneurs receive capital pledges of Sh291 million from the Lions; with over ksh140 million from season 2 and ksh150 million from season 1.
This season will see a new lion Joanne Mwangi join the den following the exit of Ms Wandia Gichuru. Joanne Mwangi is the founder and CEO, of PMS Group ( Kenya). She is currently the Chair of Federation of Women Entrepreneur Associations (FEWA), Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT), the Eastern Africa Women Entrepreneur Exchange Network Kenya Chapter (EAWEEXN) and the Advertising Standards Council.
