Having a big screen TV doesn’t really matter when it lacks a great sound which in most cases contributes to half the experience. Sight and sound when blended together creates an immersive experience especially when watching movies. That’s why many people prefer watching their favorite movies in theatres where the screen is big enough and the sound strong enough to enhance the experience. Having quality sound depends on the type and quality of the home theatre system in use. Sony Middle East and Africa today announced the launch of the HT-RT40, its new stylish 5.1 channel home theatre system. The home theatre system comprises of a 3-channel sound bar, two rear speakers, and an active external sub-woofer.
With a total power output of 600W, users can look forward to a true 5.1 surround sound experience when watching movies or listening to music. The HT-RT40 is easy to install and can simply be connected to television sets via HDMI cables. The powerful 5.1ch provides real surround sound experience available in the form of a thinner sound bar as well as tallboy surround speakers with dedicated center speakers to enhance clear dialog.
One of the most impressive features is the one touch wireless connectivity via Bluetooth and NFC support. HT-RT40 can also be easily synced with BRAVIA TVs in a single-step process and come with ‘Music Center’ through which users can browse music using their smartphones via an app for Android and iOS powered by the ‘Smart Remote Commander’ concept. Other specifications include a HDMI out, optical input, analogue input, and a USB port to play MP3 files from USB sticks.
The HT-RT40 is available at all key electronic stores and super markets priced at 42,995 KES (available at all Anisuma Stores / Gametronics / Carrefour)
Watching movies and listening to music will never be the same thanks to Sony HT-RT40.
